aurkus is amazing this format he makes lightsworn top aswell as charge charge gives 3 cards in grave plus any level 4 or lower lightsworn opening with multiples of these usually people will play these to set up a lumina garoth combo aswell as milling judgment dragon targets aswell as PSZ necro gardna and wulf aurkus stops so many things its rediclous celestia lumina ehren (for the mirror match) goyo guardian caius aswell as mind control arcanite magician gravekeeper's guard the list goes on and on ehren can kill field presence cards such as spys guards and return all defence positions synchro's arcanite |

Arkus is also a killer tech against GB stopping Gyzarus, Murmillo, Book of Moon and other stuff that GB use.
I'm not surprised to see LS not there, but I did think Cat Synchro would do better. This just shows people that GB are not dead lol |

GB is amazingly underrated deck
People see it as its not as fast as Kitty Or lightsworn cause it will outplay me far to fast but playing a dimensional fissure 1st turn against 1 of these decks then playing GB is amazing if i ever ran GB again d fissure would defo be mained same with gadgets cause people run cold wave gadgets dont see play if cold wave gets hit im playing gadgets |

Glad beasts If you open Good then u win simple as the control version is the deck i prefer kinda like how mike uses burden of the mighty aswell as using x saber airbellum for a Dark strike fighter for game its a very prefectly balanced deck and with a good player it will win Lightsworn have everything they need to stop an Otk and has everything to spped the deck up necro gardna's if milled can stop a potential otk gives u control on what monsters dont die via battle can also be good against the mirror match and aswell to stop an honest attack aurkus has already been explained aswell as charge solar recharge and aurkus amongst other lightsworn monsters give the right amount of fuel needed to drop judgment dragon bekoning of light is amazingly good is lightsworn aswell as monster reincarnation Kitty Synchro the deck can open amazing monk 2 spell for game cold wave gives it that edge shutting down opponenet's spells for a turn monk is amazingly good people starting to run mystic tomato now to get it to the field asap pot of avarice use them useful resources rescue cat as well and x saber return them to the deck and draw 2 if very good as rescue cat is a +1 aswell as pot been a +1 i found spy to be no good anymore i prefer to run 3 guard any day good against armour master etc... blackwing again a really good deck not my favourite deck aint seen a viable deck other than vayu turbo with im in the process of making gale a monster shrink that halfs the monsters attack and the monster keeps the attack halfed untill its destroyed on book of moon to be reset black whirl wind is the charge of the light brigade for blackwings mind control and allure also give it that edge Gadget is cold wave does get hit im gonna be playing gadget for a while (well for hobby league anyways) oppression is amazingly good against vayu turbo aswell as other decks thunder king raioh may see more play |

yeah i agree stu if cold wave gets hit then gadget is the way to go, my deck is just waiting to be dusted off
gb are solid and are always gonna be around kitty synchro is not consistant enough but is devastating with the right opening hand lightsworn well yeah otk's all the time blackwing are really good and are pretty cheap to build so alot of lesser players are enjoying them |

I have to totally agree with all of what Stu says, Oppression may even see some main deck play like it did at the end of the Tele-Dad Era. I actually find Blackwings an incredibly inconsistent deck and without Gale they would'nt be Tier 1. Lightsworn are still top dog as well and Synchro Cat is a very consistent OTK deck but I doubt Rescue Cat will survive the ban list. I'm not going to comment much on Glad Beast apart from the fact with a right build they beat any deck. In terms of Gadgets, I have always loved them but there not my type of deck, there a bit slow thats all. |
