ok this tourny is gonna be different to the usual ones i decided to ban meta decks along with a few others to give everyone a chance of winning this tourny
banned decks for this are:
tele-dad
other dad decks
lightsworn and lightsworn/synchro
twilight
zombie/synchro
gladiator beast

tim i honestly think if u banned these cards from the tournament then the tournament would be more fun
what i would also suggest is that u write it on a big piece of paper so duleists can take out the cards prior to the tournament
i shall be there i have no clue what to run i may run exodia for fun lolz

tim can u list what decks people can use then u cant just say im banning tele-dad lightsworn etc without giving detail
so are we allowed to use

destiny draw
allure of darkness
making these kinda rules
you gotta have some sort of guidelines
ie:
im banning teledad
ok i turn up with a dad deck without teleports and dark armed dragon and for instance you say u cant enter cause u have this in your deck and this in your deck
so yea please list
what cards u want banned and what u want limiting otherwise i'll just make an otk deck and bore everyone and win cause there a far more otks around if tele-dad decks didnt exist that are playable
if you take away
the good stuff
the cards i listed its gonna be more helpful to everyone
btw have you confirmed this with ude
cause u do know u have to ask 1st right ???
and u do know it wont be a sectioned event since your not following the september 08 list

I think you're looking too much into it Stu. Essentially, I think it's a way of encouraging us better players to perhaps play something we're not certain to top-8 with. You know, don't run a tier one deck since if everyone's just having fun because it's Christmas, we'll just ruin it for everyone. Heck, I'm running 3 Landstars in my deck. I don't care about winning.
So, just run something fun.

I agree with Andy, the whole point is to let some of the less experienced players have a shot at top but not completely exclude the more experienced ones.
Like you said stu, turn up with an Exodia deck that isn't and OTK one. I'm gona use a Normal Beatdown with 3x Blue Eyes! Just becuase it will be fun to play.
This is an unofficial rule, so it doesn't have to be UD confirmed, but it would just be nice if us older/experienced players could give a chance to the others and have some fun!
