UK Nationals 2009 ReportsWell, post up your reports of the day here!
I crashed and burned and dropped after 4 rounds  . From the group, Tim, Mike and Tits have all dropped. Of the remaining players, we have:
Charlie on 5-2
Aaron on 4-3
Mark on 4-3
Stu on 3-4
I would also like to personally congratulate Aaron. He was on 3-3 and had to play Stu in the final round of the day, and Aaron came out on top. So, very well done to him.
Also, for anyone who follows UK Yugimons, you will know whom Luke Lennard is. And bearing that in mind, you would be pleased to know that Luke lost all 3 of his first rounds and dropped  . So, lol.
I'll update this when I get home tomorrow. Good luck to the 4 of us left in the tourney and especially to Charlie, being the one standing the most of a chance to get into a good place after the 4 rounds tomorrow.

ok well i get up nice and goto to work come back and make sure my deck is ready
meet mike, chris and tits at train station, after 2hr 30 mins ish we arrive and venue and what a venue it was sheffields indoor athletics track awesome, so after having to re-write decklists (everyone had to do it) me and tits decided togo and get some trades done and f-me everyone was trying to rip but we both got alot of good trades done

well i cripple him in 1st game with oppression, but games 2 and 3 he gets royal decree out 1st turn against me and i cant do anything

vs robert tagoe (skill drain) this dude has won alot of big tournys in the past
to be fair this match was very even he took 1st game with multiole caius then i took game 2 with multiple monarchs he took game 3 monarchs

vs mark cant remember surname (frog)
i take 1st a piece of piss 2nd game he tries to stall me with level limit area b but i just use blackwing gale the whirlwind to have all his froggys attacks he hd wetlands out and then attack with it he takes control again with submarine frog but thanks to 3 solemns getting me down to 7lp!!!!!  i top a mobius for game
round 2
vs john (plant)
i take 1st game with ease after lightning vortex his 2 tytannial and 1 gigaplant after i just summon cauis for game, game 2 1 whitewash him
round 3 q-final
vs martin (plasma monarch)
this was a really close match in all 3 games basically game 3 he has gorz on field and i have spirit reaper (or something like that) but i need to top deck to win and top caius for game
round 4 semi final - im just really happy to make it this far as some really good players lost early on
vs john mcginly (six sam)
well as soon as i saw he was using six sam i knew it would be tough and well he swarms both games without me drawing a single royal oppression, he wins
pros:
meeting some real sound people
awesome trades
a f**king awesome venue
cons:
bein told top4 would get prizes for side event 3rd and 4th at least 6 packs only to be told after semis that there was a change of plan and only 1st and 2nd get prizes i mean wtf you cant do that!!!!
