Yeah, what the hell is this going to do to the game? tournament structures and stuff completely gone and Konami reinventing them? Wish they'd give us more info.
One thing I can see coming out of this nicely, is we can probably use Japanese cards officially now, since they're produced by Konami. I knew my parallel Crush would come in handy  . In general, this might mean a generally much cheaper game to play.

i saw this coming after the collapse of wizkids earler in the week (heroclix) and maybe its not the end of yugioh but finally the bigging of equialliity in the game were there are no diffrece from promos and set rares are the same. and lets face it ude have messed a lot of stuff up i.e d.a.d ,judgement , GOLD ED and most important cheper boosters 1.50 for 5 cards. Also this is a seriose wake up call to ude get youre sand together. | ||

ude just give us prize cards general prizes and tournaments and the banlist konami make the cards design them with there big team just to let everyone 1 know the fortune tour finals have been cancelled and will be held at a later date if konami decide to let it carry on the german fortune tour finals have also been cancelled all shonen jump championships have also been cancelled and any event that allows u to qualife for a national championship place or fortune tour final will now be classed as a local from this point on ( if u already have qualifed for an event u will still be classed as a qaulifer) at this moment in time there is no banlist but adived if t.o.s decided to run tournaments they need to keep to the banlist any other type of tournament with different banlist will be classed as unsectioned this is a real shame the fact that this is 1 if not the biggest trading card game in the world i hope that this game continues |

People are going insane because of how it effects Organized Play... How does this effect the judges by the way? |

Essentially, we have no clue. The only thing we know about this move right now is that all premier events are cancelled, effective immediately. Local events are effectively cancelled, but since rooms and whatever are already booked, TOs will mostly just keep them on as fun tourneys. Once all of the legalities of this blow over, we'll find out what Konami want to do regarding ALL of the aspects they're taking over, such as distribution of upcoming sets, sets that are currently out in Japan and not elsewhere (limited packs, etc...), premier events, judge programs, etc... In short, just wait until after Christmas and we'll find out. Once Tim, Myself or Charlie find out more, we'll put it up as a Global Announcement so everyone's aware of any changes that are to be made. |

this can be closed konami have confirmed that they will keep the game exactly how it is its just ran by K.D.E. (konami digital entertainment)
knowing konami to keep the younger audience they will eventully relase cards that are only in secret form easyier to get like GB herk for instance i see it like this konami plays snatch steal and ude has no mst konami win konami will still be sued for breaching contract for 75 million but 75 million to konami is like me giving ude £1 coin lol |
