well i was'nt expecting such a good turnout we even turned away a fair few people

i had plenty of packs pulled f-all Laughing

pros:
got all the blackwing stuff
got most the alien stuff i wanted
got a tuningware
in fact just got lots of cards i wanted full stop Laughing

Got tournament in the end went 3-2 thanks to the Dupe Frog and Flip Flop Frog Combo:

Pros:

* Getting the 3 Royal Swamp Eels I needed.
* Ending up getting 11 Crimson Crisis Backs in the end, lol!
* Submarine Frog's Artwork, I mean a Frog in a suit with an F on it whilst holding a Harpoon, bloody brilliant and it's a great card in conjunction with Wetlands. I mean a 2400 ATK that does piercing damage and goes under Level Limit Area - B and Gravity Bind!!
* A great 1st Sneak Peak for Worcester, well done Tim and Gord!!!!
* Not getting disqualified!!!

Cons:

* My Digital Camera not working for most of the tournament.
* All the Secret Rares in Crimson Crisis being horrendous with the exception of Dark Voltanis and Prime-Material Falcon because there half decent cards.

Well, really good day all round.
Out of my 5 packs, I pulled:
- Ido the Supreme Magical Force (nice SCR beatstick)
- Twilight Rose Knight
- Turret Warrior (summon it on 3000, you win. Simple as)
+ some decent rares, nowt special.

Only one match worth of note:

First Round Top 8: Me vs. Tom

Game 1, I swarm and win. Game 2, he swarms and wins.

Game 3, we play out our defenses for a while. He manages to summon Armoroid and starts beating me down. I summon Turret Warrior with 2800 ATK and beat him down. He then sacs two mons for Dark Voltanis to crash into him. I'm now defending again, but Tom's on a VERY low deck. He draws his last card, and his field is Alien Overlord + Assault Mercenary vs. Twilight Rose Knight in def. I'm on 4300 LP. Best he could do was summon Submarine Frog, attack for 200 damage, then direct for 4000. Such a shame. He came 100 points short of that top-4 slot.

Got to the final. Oddly enough, I spoke to Kieran the night before, and jokingly said, if we end up in the finals together, wanna split the prizes? We both agreed, and then somehow, we end up in the final together! O_O

So, we split the 2 T-Shirts and 18 packs between us. I pull a Totem Dragon, a Bone Crusher, a Hyper Psychic Blaster and an Arcanite Magician. I later get 2 Blackwing Armour Masters, an Armory Arm, a Jujutsu Master super and a final Caius to finish off my day.

Dominic came down for the first time in ages. He pulled Black Salvo and Royal Swamp Eel. Not bad pulls, but poor for the tourney itself. He went 3-2, just missing top-8.

Pros:
- Came 1st/2nd!!!
- 14 packs in total!
- 2 Blackwing Synchros!
- Awesome pulls! 3 Ultra+ cards from 14 packs...
- Great work by the judges, although I could see them trading a lot... XD

Cons:
- Flip Flop Frog, although being amazing for anyone who pulled it, horrible to play against Sad

Wicked day, I can't believe i actually managed to get to the finals with such shit pulls, My deck was like completely fillers, except 2 flip flop frog, 2 dupe frog and 2 sirocco, luckily I drew them a lot Smile

Can't remember a whole report but 1 match worth noting was the 5th round against Sam:

Game 1:
A first turn Dupe frog pretty much won it for me xD just controlled with sirocco and flip flop after that.

Game 2:
Terrible Terrible TERRIBLE opening hand, easy game for him.

Game 3:
This was hard, I think I only had 2 cards left in my deck when I beat him - and only 1600 lifepoints! But I managed it xD

Then, in the first round of the top 8 I had Sam AGAIN, He wasn't pleased as My double sirocco + flip flop frog really pissed him off. But ye....that match went exactly the same as the one above.

Pros:
1st / 2nd place split with Andy Smile

Getting loads of blackwings and stuff for my other deck.
Seeing Sam, Charlie, "Pukie" and everyone else who came.

Cons:
Pulling no real holo power cards in my packs, making the swiss much harder than it needed to be Razz

Daedalus

Well, not a bad day for all it seems, especially me, although it was no surprise because I pull fairly good shit as i stated on the forum before. Unfortunately neither me or my best friend Olly got into the tourny, which was a bit of a blow, considering we pulled some of the best cards. We had fun all the same. We could've even potentially won the tourny with the stuff we pulled.

Pro's:
+ Pulling several Blackwings and trading them for a decent amount of Six Samurai's (my new deck is even now being sorted out as i say this).
+ Having a good laugh.
+ Pulling Dark Strike Fighter.
+ Trading it for loads of stuff.
+ Seeing Olly pulling some decent shit and having a great time.

Con's:
- Pulling a secret rare version of the handout card (Collosal Fighter/Assault Mode) rendering it worthless.
- Not being able to participate.
- Accidentally spending all my money, so i couldnt get my mom anything good for her birthday.
- Being touched up by Richard.... again.

pros:
+pulling arcanite magician assault mode, red dragon archfiend assault mode, prime material falcon, and a dark strike fighter.
+getting a playset of dark strike fighters Very Happy

+genuinely being a good day
