coventry reportwell it was a good day and also a bad 1
coventry bishop games have gone bust due to the recession so there last yugioh tournament event was yesterday
i decided to attended cause i have been going there on and off for 4 years now such aload of great people i meet throught the game up there
anyhow i arrive
so theres like 50 people seated there was a big turnout since it was last event ever
the manager come in and thanked all the players for all the support he has given the shop and a treat for everyone since it was £5 entry he was gonna give extra prizes out everyone is happy he says theres no point holding on to the stuff since it will only get thrown away anyway
so everyone is excited and stuff
anyhow i was running a build similar to the guy who won the german fortune tour finals but with a few choice cards i ran that he didnt
cut long story short
i 5-0 swiss

myself vs a guy named steve running a macro build
im like shit if he plays macro vs my deck i lose unless i draw s/t removal
so he wins the roll i got a 1 to his 6!!!!
he sets 3 s/t summons necroface and ends im holding storm so wow why not assuming her would dark bribe or solemn he doesnt he face downs were 2 waboku and a mirror force
i proceed to take the game there hitting him with 1 dad and 3 goyo
game 2 i decree his macro he plays fissire but i kill it with a lyla and he cant keep up with the speed of the deck i kill him with 2 dad colossal and stardust

he was running a standard tele-dad build with no crush all through the day he was offering me loads of cards for my spare crush but nothing i needed
at the end of the tournament he gives me £80 and his entire folder full of secrets and stuff lol
anyhow
game 1 i win the roll and open 2 card of safe return 1st time i opened with it all day i set goblin zombie and solemn and end he draws does some stuff and gets colossal and stardust out and hits me direct with colossal after attacking with stardust over my goblin zombie with i got zombie master he sets a trap and ends i draw to him dust shooting me mosters i had was goblin zombie zombie master zombie master and plague he send goblin zombie back and i start the draw engine off i end up having a field of 3 goyo 1 dad and i brain his colossal with he trys to phoenix wing wind blast but solemn stops him his next card was gorz
game 2 was over fairly quickly i hit an early crush with a reaper he d draws a mally and sets and ends
i draw lyla kills is dimensional prison i attack with it then play 1 card of safe turn and book of life is mally to special summon reaper he draws a cauis and loses it to crush he sets a s/t and ends only for me to mst it in in the end phase he scoops

game 1 and 2 he otks me the only real good player who beat me hes also a team member on my team n*synchro so tis all good
