The effect of Retiari has been announced. And LOL. It's crap. Doesn't burn, doesn't do hand destruction or mill cards. Nothing. Here's the effect:
CSOC-EN086
Gladiator Beast Retiari
Aqua/Effect
WATER
1200/800/3*
When this card is special summoned by the effect of a "Gladiator Beast" monster, you can remove from play 1 card from your opponent's graveyard. At the end of the battle phase, if this card attacked or was attacked, you can return this card to your deck to Special Summon 1 "Gladiator Beast" monster from your deck except "Gladiator Beast Retiari".
*Secret Rare*
So, it's NOT the saviour of Gladiator Beasts, for one very good reason. DD CROW IS BETTER!!!
Discuss.

Well I think it will really help in the next format. Zombies are about to take a huge upswing and being able to remove their Mezuki's are going to help. It also helps against Tele-dad. Trigger off Stardust, battle, then summon this and that Stardust has gone away.
I think this card will be played atleast one in a GB deck. D.D Crow may be better, but in a GB deck, this guy is searchable. Stats don't completely suck either.
It was never going to be Hand destruction, then GBs would be too broken and they would have had to Ban/Limit it. Its a good contribution _________________ H/W list: http://wyc.myfastforum.org/about1484.html

Also agaianst Tele-dad, it will force them to use a their in-grave Mali before a Tag-out, otherwise they are going to lose it to this guy. That forces them into a stratagy that they may wanted to wait for _________________ H/W list: http://wyc.myfastforum.org/about1484.html

| That may be true, but Retiari is not the GB saviour that everyone had hoped it would be. D.D. Crow is already run in 3 and is chainable to boot. It will no doubt see some play, but it's not as amazing had hoped. Plus, it's nowhere near secret-worthy. |

its far more slower than d.d. crow
d.d.crow can be played in either turn
imperial wall says hi
2 imperial wall in GB is amazing broken
stops them crowing bestari and playing bottomless on laqurai
