Well, to be honest, tourney was quite disappointing. Very low turnout of 11 people made it so we only got 4 rounds and Top-2 playoffs!!! Very poor turnout. Where were you guys??? Anyways, I play Empty Jar considering I only chose to come along the night before and I still had it built from the previous week.

Round 1 vs. Stu (Tempest/Explosion OTK)

This was a good game. First game I OTKed him, second game he OTKed me. Third game went to time and having played Upstart Goblin, I was going to lose. In turn 3, Stu plays Explosion, hitting me for 3600 damage. The score was 9000/4400 in his favour and with only 1 turn left, I had to force the win in this game. Luckily, I drew into Morphing Jar and managed to hit him for game.

Round 2 vs. James (random synchros)

I LOVE playing James. Such fun. It's exactly what Hobby League is for. Well, game 1 I didn't draw my Morphing Jar at all and proceeded to deck him out with 2 Morphing Jar 2s, followed by actually getting the Jar himself to hit for game. Game 2 went faster due to drawing Morphing Jar early on, but we did in fact go to time having spent about 25 mins on the first game. Nothing much else to discuss.

Round 3 vs. Ben (Destiny Heroes)

First game is very quick and I decked him out in 2-3 turns. Second game, he goes first and tops Polymerization + Plasma + Dogma, getting Destiny End Dragoon. Due to Dragoon's ability, I couldn't summon anything without it being blown up next turn. I took my time and having stalled with Roars and Swords, I managed to draw enough cards to deck him out even with the Dragoon out.

Round 4 vs. Tim (Blackwings)

No offense Tim, but this turned out to be pretty easy, lol. Essentially, Tim drew crap both games and I drew mediocre hands, managing to capitalise on them. Pretty much the same both games.

Final

Me vs. Tim (again...)

Lol. Well, we were pretty fed up by this point. Tim took the first game after a miscalculation on my part (forgot he could get out Dark Strike and I let him get me low enough before it happened). I took the second game fairly quickly having topped Morphing Jar within 3 turns and forcing tim to set his Morphing Jar using my MJ2's effect (also milling 2 Bribes Razz

). After this, Tim gave up and just handed me the match. I opened up the 2 CPs for winning and only pulled a Necro Gardna and an Oppression, no holos. So, didn't really matter in the end.

Pros:

Winning
Nice day all round (great to have a break from revision)

Cons:

Poor turnout
Terrible pulls (2 shiens...)

I'm sorry I couldn't make it, but a trip to Worcester every week is quiet expensive on my part, especially just for hobby league. I should be at the Locals next week though!

game 1 he gets me dwon to 575lp pretty quickly but i win making goyo and thought ruler same turn, game 2 he gets nothing i sync up 1st turn which is enough for game

really liked his deck it was a cool idea game 1 i win in 2 turns with sirocco,bora,gale, game 2 an early solemn from me did'nt help and he gets out gigaplant for game, game 3 walkover

well i get bad hands i mean drawing morphing jar myself just kinda helps him LOL

yea turnout was bad compared to the last 1 23 was it to 11 this 1

i ran a tempest magician FTK that sides into explosion i made the deck the night before and didnt have any spare cards to make the side so used what i had in my folder to make the side

lost 1st round to landstar's annoying jar.dek

then won the rest missed out on finals coming like 3rd/4th something like that

got a few decent trades with mike and tits and thats about it rly
